Automotive Service Manager
Paul's Car Care Center has job openings available for an experienced Automotive Service Manager! We're looking for honest, dedicated, customer-service oriented people to join our team at North Charleston, SC.
Automotive Service Managers are responsible running an efficient and profitable automotive repair shop, as well as providing service support for all customers and ensuring the high quality of repairs and maintenance performed by other technicians. Automotive Service Managers are responsible not only for the shop's operations, but also Paul's Car Care Center's reputation as a trustworthy and dependable auto shop. A successful Automotive Service Manager will have a very strong understanding of automotive maintenance & repair, strong attention to detail, ability to run our shop at maximum production, and a dedication to honesty and fairness.
Automotive Service Managers are Responsible for:
- Forecast goals and objectives for the shop
- Prepare and administer operating budget
- Monitor technicians
- Direct and schedule employee activities
- Hire, train and motivate the staff
- Inspecting the work of other technicians and ensuring it meets Paul's Car Care Center's high standards
- Ensuring all work orders are completed correctly and accurately
- Practicing safe work principles
Applicants are required to be:
- Preferably ASE Certified
- 3+ years of experience working in an automotive repair facility
- 1+ years of supervisor experience
- Recipients of a high school diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and managerial skills
- Ability to operate shop at a profit
- In possession of a valid driver's license
- Familiar with multiple makes and models of vehicles
- Committed to keeping up-to-date on automotive knowledge
- Dependable, honest and organized
- Available to work weekends and some holidays

My story I was driving back to Florida from Virginia and I ran over something on the highway. I luckily pulled off at Walterboro . I stopped at a Verizon store and they told me there was 2 auto stores in town . But only go to Paul's because the other would rip you off. I called and was taken in right away. I was concerned that it was going to be expensive and I would have to wait very long time I waited maybe 10 mins and was taken care off. I was nervous I had no idea what to expect. I saw the manager taking care of another lady and was blown away at the level of service she received . At that point I started breathing. Then mine was ready he asked my name and advised me not to run over anything else on the highway. Mose friendly customer service oriented shop I have ever experienced. As I said I live in Florida and I wish I had such a trust worthy shop as this . The people in Walterboro you are very lucky. If I was you I would go nowhere else . A Big Thank you for your amazing service and hospitality. I hope I have conveyed just how amazing this place is . It was like walking back in time when customers came first.
